Did Oprah Get Lance Armstrong to Confess???
The former Queen of Daytime Talk, one Miz Oprah Winfrey, proves she can still pull in the big names. Today, Oprah announced her worldwide exclusive interview with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong. Is Lance going to confess? There had been rumors all week that he might come clean, no pun intended.
Oprah’s press release says, “In the interview, Winfrey speaks with Armstrong at his home in Austin, Texas in the only interview since the seven-time Tour de France winner was stripped of his titles and dropped from millions of dollars in endorsement deals after the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency released an extensive report accusing the renown cyclist of doping throughout his career. Armstrong was given a lifetime ban on competing professionally. Late last year, Armstrong resigned as chairman of the foundation he created, Livestrong, which has raised hundreds of millions of dollars in the fight against cancer.”
I smell confession, folks!!! The 90-minute Thursday night episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” will air January 17 (9:00 – 10:30 p.m. ET/PT) on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Have you seen the new Macy’s commercial? It features actor Edmund Gwenn (Kris Kringle) from the original “Miracle On 34th Street” digitally edited with Macy’s biggest celebrity names including Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Tommy Hilfiger and a very funny turn from one Martha Stewart. I LOVE the original film and this is a fun way for Macy’s to bring about some holiday spirit!!! Check it out below!

Breaking News: The Next OSCARS Host Is…
Deadline.com is reporting EXCLUSIVELY that SETH MACFARLANE will host the Oscars next February on ABC. MacFarline is known for being the creator of “Family Guy” and the box office smash, “Ted.”
It’s a bold choice for the Academy and a good one, I say. Seth will bring younger viewers to the screen and hopefully hip up what has been an otherwise boring awards show in years past.

SEE IT: “Pitch Perfect” Strikes One Chord – HILARIOUS!
Sometimes you see a movie trailer and you think, “The trailer is funny, but the movie probably sucks.” Well, for “Pitch Perfect” starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, the trailer is funny… and the film…funnier! Like, laugh out loud funny! People all around me in the theater were quoting lines seconds after hearing them on screen.
“Pitch Perfect” is about a college a capella competition and the hardcore students in it. Ok, not all of them are hardcore, but the casting and the characters are perfection. Two of the best characters are the vocal competition announcers played by Elizabeth Banks (also a producer on the film) and John Michael Higgins. Their one liners in the throws of competition are a riot. Anna Kendrick got her start on Broadway, so it’s no wonder she sounds (and looks) amazing in this film and I have yet to see Rebel Wilson in a movie in which I did not like her.
The music rocks too. All songs you should know with a nice little twist – kinda like GLEE, but better! And when you see Anna Kendrick audition in the film singing a capella and using a cup to create a rhythm, know that she did that in her real audition and the producers loved it so much, they added it to the film.
The only sour note for me was Adam DeVine who plays Bumper, the lead singer of the all-male “Treble Makers.” He comes across as a Jack Black wanna-be. His lines are funny, but his character was not original.

My source did not let me down and he (or she) is not dead to me as promised. You can get all the details on Huffington Post, but it was quite a small affair in Big Sur and the bride was wearing Valentino. Congrats! Now to find my next scoop. This celebrity stuff never ends.
