RIP Uncle Leo

You probably didn’t know Len Lesser by name, but certainly if you watched SEINFELD, you knew Uncle Leo.  He was such a scene stealer.  Lesser died Wednesday at age 88 from cancer-related pneumonia.

He’s one of those great character actors that comes on the screen and just takes hold of you.  He’s appeared on “Get Smart,” “That Girl,” “The Munsters,” “The Monkees,” “The Rockford Files,” “thirtysomething,” “ER,” and “Everybody Loves Raymond,” in which he played Frank’s lodge buddy, Garvin.  In every scene when Ray Barone walked into the room, he would yell, “Hey everybody, it’s Ray” followed by a signature laugh.

RIP Uncle Leo.  We’ll miss ya!
