DEVELOPING NOW: Charlie Sheen Booed in Detroit
MORE: The Hollywood Reporter provides more details on tonight’s disastrous Charlie Sheen show in Detroit.
UPDATE: EW reports the show looks like it is wrapping up just 50 minutes after Sheen took the stage. People are walking out of the theater early.
Entertainment Weekly is live blogging Charlie Sheen’s first live show in Detroit tonight and not only is he talking complete non-sense, but he is also being booed by the audience. Sheen replied, “I already go your money, dude.” Click the link for live updates. The show just seems to be getting worse and worse. EW’s writer on the scene calls it “a disaster.” And TMZ reported yesterday that the tickets say there are no refunds. Sheen told the audience tonight, “You paid your hard-earned money without knowing what this show was about.” You can say that again.
Sheen plays Chicago Sunday night. Well, he is supposed to anyway. We’ll see what happens after the mess in Detroit.

Exactly WHY DID YOU buy a ticket for this show?? Collectively, I see that all of us SETTLED for not knowing what we were buying, and then we have the audacity to BLAME, be ANGRY, and eventually become the VICTIM!!.
Sadly, that is so turning into The American Way. (Look at Wall Street, our American Auto Makers, even our wars.)It’s called Irresponsibility. It’s also called Burying our Emotions.
Be Authentic… and answer the original question “Why specifically did you want to be at that show?” What non alcohol addiction were you looking to feed? What non-cocaine excitement were you looking to fuel? The TV show was such a success because it mirrors our own dysfunction, lack of values, and self-respect. Are we
really all that different from Charlie Sheen?
If you really like and/or care about him, encourage him to talk On Tour about anger, pain, judgement, and loss. That way, we’ll all be WINNING… and we’ll all be releasing addiction.
Very nicely said!!! Brava, Bonnie!!!
