Here are some more images from my trip to Hawaii, enroute to Australia. This is the view from my hotel room balcony. Jealous? You should be. 
Just kidding. It is a great view though. I’m staying at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. As you can see, it’s directly across the street from Waikiki Beach.
And as promised, below are pics of the banyan trees. Wish these grew in Chicago! Could you see these on Michigan Avenue?
This is the the plumeria flower. It grows all over Hawaii and is typically the flower used is leis. They’re gorgeous.
Here are some shots from Oahu’s North Shore… such a beautiful part of the island.

Hey Hank….I love the plumeria flower. I like their fragrance too. I won my trip to Hawaii in 1979. Never will forget it.
