At least Lindsay Lohan can find some humor in her “dramatic” incident on Friday. To catch you up, when producers of her Liz Taylor movie for Lifetime tried to reach Linday at her hotel, she would not answer her phone. Lohan was said to be “unconscious” and paramedics were called. Yes, she was unconscious. It’s called sleep. Turns out Lilo was sleeping very hard after several long days of work and didn’t hear the phone ring. Oops. So Lindsay sent this Tweet out this weekend:
“Note to self.. After working 85hours in 4days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion &7 paramedics MIGHT show up @ your door…. Hopefully theyre cute. Otherwise it would be a real let down.”

It’s called: A Death In The Family: The Show Must Go One. You can watch it here on the Grammy Web site. The documentary not only features behind-the-scenes types talking about the tragedy, it also includes interviews with first time host LL Cool J who was battling the flu and singer Jennifer Hudson who would perform a touching tribute. OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, has just announced that it’s cancelling the talk show hosted by comedian Rosie O’Donnell, “The Rosie Show.” The show will tape its final episode on Tuesday, March 20th.
A release issued by OWN said: “I thank Rosie from the bottom of my heart for joining me on this journey. She has been an incredible partner, working to deliver the best possible show every single day,” said Oprah Winfrey. “As I have learned in the last 15 months, a new network launch is always a challenge and ratings grow over time as you continue to gather an audience. I’m grateful to Rosie and the dedicated Rosie Show team for giving it their all.”
In the release, Rosie O’Donnell went on to say: “I loved working with Oprah in the amazing city of Chicago.” She added, “I was welcomed with open arms and will never forget the kindness of all I encountered. It was a great year for me – I wish the show was able to attract more viewers – but it did not. So I am headed back to my home in New York – with gratitude. On we go!”
TMZ reports that Duhmal was kicked off a flight from NYC yesterday when he refused to turn off his Blackberry before take off. TMZ says the flight attendant asked him three times and on the third request he laughed. So she got even. The plane, which was on the taxiway, returned to the gate, police boarded and removed the actor. Yo go, pissed off flight attendant.
One passenger said Duhmal was “rude” toward the flight attendant.
Duhmal’s rep says “He’s sorry.”
Ugh huh! Yeah.
The web site, Popeater.com, has an interesting story on Mr. West who apparently went on a verbal tirade after a New York concert last Monday in NYC’s Lower East Side. West continues to make excuses for his George Bush rant and his Taylor Swift MTV debacle. He even chided Swift saying “…just as Taylor never came to my defense in any interview, and rode the waves and rode it and rode it…” WTF, man? Why should she come to your defense? How do you defend stupidity? Actually, I think Taylor Swift spoke about it once on “The View” and then never again. Until she wrote a song about you. Then again, she writes a song about everyone who does her wrong. Just ask Joe Jonas. Lesson here…don’t piss off a song writer.
Re: Bush… He said, “…look at what the media did, look at how they exploited him, they said that he said it was his lowest moment and as a mass, as America, we took that as a fact.” He DID say that was his lowest moment. Matt Lauer asked W to clarify and gave him the option of restating that and W did not. If the man says that was his lowest moment, whether we agree with it or not (and I don’t) then that’s his lowest moment.
There are some powerful people in music that have direct contact to Kanye. I am begging and pleading for P. Diddy, Jay Z and LA Reid to please bitch slap, Kanye. Someone needs to knock some sense into him and soon. And while you are at it, could you please teach him how to carry a tune? Thanks.
